Roger Philpot, Proprietor :
Roger is the proprietor of Pittern Hill Stables and has owned the yard for 40 years. He teaches both astride and side saddle to all ages and levels of riders both in the UK and abroad. He regularly travels to clinics round the country and judges side saddle showing competitions. He is also available to fit side saddles.

Liz Rogers, Yard Manager:
Liz has been working at Pittern Hill for 20 years and brings with her a wealth of knowledge. Liz is a highly experienced rider and competes regularly in Dressage to medium level and Side Saddle Showing national, international level and also retrained racehorse. She has won side saddle rider of the year 6 times. Liz teaches both side saddle and astride and also judges side saddle competitions around the country. |
Kelle King:
Kelle has now worked at Pittern Hill for 3 years after previously working at Upton House. She is a qualified BHSAI instructor. Kelle brought two horses with her and regularly competes them at both dressage and side saddle showing. Kelle also has experience in carriage driving.

Rosie Stewart:
The newest member to the team currently works at weekends but will be joining us full time in June after completing a BSc (Hons) Equine Science degree at Moreton Morrell College. Rosie has helped and ridden at the stables for the last two years. She has previously competed in dressage, show jumping and cross country and has more recently competed in dressage and side saddle showing, however she still very much enjoys her jumping. Rosie has her BHS Stage 3 Riding and Care and has plans to work towards her PTT. |
